Well not rites, maybe, but explorations our Brisbane home. With our departure so close at hand, we're having those "this is the last time ..." experiences, bitter - "will we ever be back?" - and sweet - "wasn't it exciting when we first ..."
A few weeks back, we did an early evening kayak paddle on the Brisbane River, enjoying the great colors of the city from water-level.
And had a wonderful dinner with our (new) friends Beryl and Allen at our fave winery, Clovely (origin of our first (and second!) case - five courses of sumptuous food (prawns, venison, duck, beef, dessert) and wine pairings and great conversation.

And we finally got to the Queensland Performing Art Center - QPAC - for a fine performance of "The King and I," with great singing and elaborate staging.
